The man's President now: he's no longer required to lie to the idiots who rather desperately needed to believe that the War in Iraq was unjustified in order to excuse their willingness to throw the Kurds on the fire if that's what it took to win a domestic election. And you think <I>that </I>was bad, I haven't even brought up the Katrina slams. :) Simple: “careless” should have been left on the campaign trail where it belonged. How is an announcement that the new guy is actually planning on making good on a major campaign promise -- one of the central promises that got him elected in the first place -- an example of "kicking a man once he’s safely out of power and can’t kick back?" This announcement is merely following through on something he's been saying all along.
