A lot of love went into The Saga Begins.
I’ve heard that Don McLean when performing American Pie nowadays has to be careful lest he start singing Weird Al’s lyrics by accident, since his kids have played Al’s version so much. He’s one of the biggest fans of Al’s parody.
I believe that; Weird Al outdid himself.
It’d be cool if McLean cut his own version.
