“Lawyers, Guns, & Money,” acoustic.

Lawyers, Guns And Money, Warren Zevon

Not really the same tune, obviously: but it’s an interestingly sparse acoustic version in its own right.

Moe Lane

PS: Incidentally, Lawyers, Guns & Money is also a really good supplement for Unknown Armies, which is a really good urban fantasy roleplaying game.

  1. If you like this version of “Lawyers, Guns and Money”, then you will want to give Zevon’s “Learning to Flinch” CD na listen. It is a live CD, with most of the songs performed either like this one with 12-string steel guitar or solo on the paino. This sone is good. However, “Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner” is a 11 minute 19 second killer track on solo piano (with a little sound effect to start the song). Of course, if a more rocking choice of Zevon is desired, then go listen to his “Tranverse City” CD. Either the “Tranverse City” track (with David Gilmour on guitar) or “Gridlock” track (with Neal Young’s blistering guitar).
