For the benefit of any members of Obama’s Inoffizielle Mitarbeiter that might have wandered in…

…(H/T: my RS colleague and fellow thoughtcriminal Jeff Emanuel) please note that I have updated my RedState profile to make it easier for those of your sort to comply with the following directive:

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

Now, all you have to do is click on the link, and voila! – your default email program will do the rest. Which probably means that you’ll be reporting my thoughtcrime to the White House via Outlook, but that’s hardly my problem.

PS: And may I note in passing yet again how much I miss the days of the Bush administration, where we didn’t have communication problems like this?

  1. How about an email campaign, like

    Dear President Obama,

Things are not what I expected. I went to the doctor expecting my tonsils to be removed, and he refused to perform this lucrative service. It seems that this has happened to everyone on my block.

In addition, my insurance company continues to pay my claims. What up with that? I go to the doctor and pay my copay, and just like that, they pay the doctor. Ditto for my prescriptions. Something is really fishy about that. It’s not at all what I expected.

    Yours truly,

And maybe copy your congresspeoples on the email, too.

  2. I’m sending in several emails saying that the principle sources of disinformation appears to be

    Barack Obama
    1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
    Washington, D.C.

    Ron Emanuel
    1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
    Washington, D.C.

    Rep. Nancy Pelosi
    235 Cannon HOB – Washington, DC 20515

    Sen. Harry Reid
522 HART SENATE OFFICE BUILDING WASHINGTON DC 20510

Please, if you find other sources of disinformation, please make sure flag@whitehouse.gov knows.
