Dr. Benke is also a math teacher who (with the help of another teacher) tackled, disarmed, and subdued a school shooter in Colorado. Thanks to their quick response, there were only two injuries, and (hopefully) no fatalities.

How could this possibly happen? I mean, didn’t the law proclaim schools as gun free zones? And felons aren’t allowed guns either, so clearly the article is in error.
