#rsrh Carnahan cuts and runs on GZM.

[UPDATE] Welcome, Instapundit readers. Note that I got sent this (via email, which is why no H/T). Also note that the Carnahan firebombing is looking like an inside problem. And welcome, PJTV viewers.

Amusing video of the day: Russ Carnahan (D, MO-03) runs away rather than answer a simple question on whether or not he supports the Ground Zero Mosque.

Yup, that’s some impressive leadership we’re seeing here in MO-03. Sheesh, you’d think that he’d at least admit that he has an opinion. Unless he really and truly doesn’t? You get the impression that Carnahan’s current job bores him so.

PS: Ed Martin for Congress.

  • TJIC says:

    We need a revolution.

  • Jeffersonian says:

Well, Russ ain’t exactly the sharpest knife in the block. He probably isn’t too keen on exposing how empty and vacuuous he truly is.

  • Gunga says:

Brave Sir Robin ran away – No!
    Bravely ran away, away – I didn’t!
When danger reared its ugly head
He bravely turned his tail and fled – No!
Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about
    And gallantly he chickened out
    Bravely taking to his feet
He beat a very brave retreat
Bravest of the brave, Sir Robin

  • meander says:

Whew, that is really telling. I am appalled that he couldn’t handle this any better than stone faced ignoring. He’s a wimpy embarrassment.

  • Man, that guy is a weakling. Can’t even make a feeble answer and won’t even acknowledge you.

He shows no confidence in his ability to discuss. Even Alan Grayson would do better..

  • Bryan says:

Thank goodness for this and other citizen journalists, or as I like to call them, “journalists”.

  • dave in dallas says:

YOu’d think the guy would have prepared a stock answer, “I’m in favor of religious freedom, but I understand the concerns of the families”, something designed to blow off this question. That business of ignoring (and I noticed the guy who kept interposing himself between carnahan and the camera too, thuggery, entourage stuff), the pretense that you are not even worth talking to, is just appalling.

But this is the man who claimed way back at the beginning of the health care deal that it would save the nation billions of dollars. The people in that meeting burst into loud laughter and it made his face red.

He is also the guy who was stumped by Kevin Jackson when he asked “if this health care plan is so good, why won’t congress go on it?”

Carnahan turned to an aide and said “you wanna take that?” she was like a deer in the headlights. No answer was given. Again. Carnahan is a chump. GET. HIM. OUT.

  • wilson says:

Congressman, where do you stand on the issue of tar and feathers?

The Dow may be falling, but my stocks in pitchfork and guillotine manufacturers have tripled in the last 4 months.

  • wilson says:

But really, how tough is it, how much in brains does it require to answer, “They have the right to build it, but they really shouldn’t.” The fact that these post-Americans defend the sensitivities of everyone but mainstream Americans reveals their contempt.

  • dsm says: added a sound track to that video. Here’s the remix:
