#rsrh So… Gadhafi’s in Monaco?

At least, that’s my guess, given that Gadhafi’s son is currently telling the world that “his father remained in charge with the army’s backing and would “fight until the last man, the last woman, the last bullet.””  You usually don’t see that sort of rhetoric from a regime until its Dear Leader has already loaded up the private plane with the relevant financial information and is flying to a place with a decent infrastructure and full of public officials who are sympathetic about the essential meaninglessness of extradition treaties.

Which might not be Monaco, at that.  I picked it because I figure that Gadhafi probably will; he might even be able to get away with it, either.

[UPDATE] Hot Air has more.  It’s looking… bad.  And, to editorialize?  I know that people like to sneer at neocons and everything, but I can’t help but notice that all the non-poor, non-unstable, and non-destabilizing parts of the planet all have functional democracies running them.

Just a thought.
