THIS IS THE GREATEST THING EVER.

This is even better than 7,000 votes.  Brothers and sisters: what was lost, and now been found.

The new machines feature a dual-core Intel Atom 1.8GHz processor, a Nvidia Ion2 graphics chipset, and as much as 4GB of RAM and 1TB of memory. The units run on Ubuntu, an open-source operating system, but are also capable of running Microsoft’s latest OS, Windows 7.

Sold out like nobody’s business, of course – but you can find the company here.

  1. I’m glad to see that they are still around. Last time I did any work on a Commodore was during my college internship with a video editing program. Sounds like they have been making some smart decisions on how to stay afloat.

  2. @Cameron: So far as I know, they are not still around, this is a relaunch decades later. Awesome news, either way.

  3. Oops. Looks like they originally went under back in 94. Still have some good memories with that editing program though.
