MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell *had* 32 teeth.

“Lawrence, we can end this interview right now if you don’t want me to finish my point.”

I know this, because I just watched him crawl on the floor trying to retrieve them after he tried to push around former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice.

This one’s going around. Newsbusters, @adambaldwin, the Daily Caller – take your pick. Particularly enjoyable was the part where she called O’Donnell a liar:

RICE: You have just made a false statement. You said that we couldn’t assemble a coalition. How many countries fought in the coalition in Iraq?

O’DONNELL: Actually fought and had casualties? Actually fought?

RICE: Yeah, how many.

O’DONNELL: Maybe half a dozen actually fought.

RICE: I see. So the Georgians who went there and the Japanese who went there and others —

O’DONNELL: Actually had soldiers firing weapons on the ground?

RICE: This was not part of the coalition. The people who — the British and the Australians and the Poles and all of those — the Canadians, all of those who were ultimately in Iraq, these were not part of the coalition?

O’DONNELL: Yes, they were.

RICE: Yeah. So your statement was just false.

Couple that with all the times where Rice backhanded O’Donnell for not letting her finish and the result is almost twelve minutes of entertaining awesome. Next time… send your A-Team, ye Lefties.

“Next time… send your A-Team, ye Lefties.”

They don’t have one. That’s why they’re lefties.

  • Author says:

And yet Condi tried to prevent Israelis from destroying the Syrian nuclear reactor in 2007. Tsk, tsk. With all her awesomeness, I do not want her anywhere near the wheel.

  • Patrick says:

Wow. She mopped the floor. One lefty talking point after another, dismantled before our eyes. Well done.

  • Mark says:

Dr. Rice bitch slapped that punk

  • Nate Whilk says:

The only reason O’Donnell thought he could push Rice around is that she’s black. He’s a RAAAAAAAAAAACIST!

(Hey, somebody had to say it.)

  • Patvann says:

That was beautiful work, by a beautiful person. I’m gonna watch it again in slow motion.

  • dennis says:

Lawrence, the worst part of being an ass is not knowing you’re an ass so you just keep displaying it for the world to see. Thanks for the laugh!. Don’t let the facts get your way.

  • gbob says:

    Condi for President.

I’ve been saying this for years. Why would a gun wielding, doctorate holding, tough of nails foreign policy expert *not* be in the top of Republican picks?

  • rrr says:

Yes, Author, because the point of this is that we want to nominate her for Queen of the World.

  • Mr. Potato Head says:

Way to go, Condi. Let Larry the Socialist have what-for.

  • Ken says:

Lawrence O’Donnell likes to call people “chickenhawks” and “draft dodgers.”

Lawrence O’Donnell loves to act macho on camera.

Lawrence O’Donnell loves to attack Republicans on defense issues.

  • Ed says:

Interrupting and browbeating a black woman? This middle-aged white man is obviously both racist and sexist. Can’t you see that a black woman from the south, with her richness of experience, would make better decisions? Obviously, O’Donnell is a pig.

  • Fred says:

    Condi for president.

(Hey, somebody had to say it.)

  • John says:

That’s been a constant media spin effort.

narrative….Libya is multi lateral….Iraq was not (even though it was).

Well killing Osama was unilateral. And that worked just fine.

  • Cahlmeeishmael says:

O’Donnell was out of his depth.

  • Billa says:

“[W]hat you know today can effect what you do tomorrow. But what you know today cannot effect what you did yesterday…”

Rice said that to O’Donnell with the same tone one uses when talking with an especially impaired special needs child.

  • Octus says:

Did Ted Baxter have a son? We at least need DNA testing.

  • SPQR says:

Larry O’Donnell is out of his depth in a puddle.

  • Freshcut says:

What a great way to enter the weekend! Condi bitch-slapping the Olby wannabe. Perfection!

  • Lummox JR says:

Brilliant performance by Dr. Rice. Well spoken across the board, and I loved the way she wouldn’t let him get away with interrupting her, and doubly so for not letting him get away with making a drive-by bogus assertion.

  • Scrib says:

Would you say that this was the greatest mistake of an Administration…
Would you say that that was the greatest misstatement by a National Security Advisor…

Seriously, no bias. No attempt to shape the interview. No attempt to make the guest answer Lawrence’s questions within his own framework.

How often do you beat your children sir? And as a follow up, which do you prefer to use, a mallet or a frying pan?

  • jr72023 says:

The real irony is all of the traffic MSNBC will get from conservatives checking to see this moron again. They will be gaining ad revenue due to the fact they hired an incompetent and people will be tuning in just to see him go up in flames for laughs.

  • Brett says:

Love Condition but she made a slight mistake. No Canadians in Iraq. We were/are in Afganistan but not Iraq. Still a big coalition though.

  • Brett says:

Condi not condition. Damn you iPad autocorrect!

  • Moderate Mom says:

Watching her bitch slap him, over and over, with a smile on her face the entire time, was a thing of beauty to watch.

  • SGT Mike, RVN '69 says:

I’d have given anything to have had PFC O’Donnell in my squad.

  • arctic_front says:

Brett, you are not fully correct re: Canadians in Iraq.

There were hundreds of Canadian military personnel in Iraq, serving in U.S. combat units as part of an exchange program to cross-train U.S. and Canadian officers and specialists in interoperability. The Canadian Armed Forces were not there in brigade strength units as part of the Canadian Government’s foreign policy, however. Combat pilots, logistics, armored and infantry personnel were all integrated into U.S. regular units for most of the conflict.

  • qixlqatl says:

That **was** the lefty A team….and these people are in charge? 😮

  • Murgatroyd says:

Somewhere not too far away from here there’s an alternate timeline in which Dick Cheney resigned as VP in February 2006 and George W. Bush named Condoleezza Rice as his replacement, with Cheney then taking the post of Secretary of Defense. In that world, Barack Obama is a former back-bench Senator from Illinois, President Rice is coasting toward re-election in 2012, and the rest of us are happier, healthier, and safer.

  • Maureen says:

I like the cut of your world, Murgatroyd.

Condi’s done and said some things I thought were stupid, sure. But she’s certainly a presidential contender, if she wants to be.

Meanwhile, we get to sit back and watch a lawyer and a lady take no crap and no prisoners in perfectly lawyerlike and ladylike fashion.
