#rsrh Thomas Walker’s political – fetish porn. (Commentary NSFW)

(Via Hot Air Headlines) I know that the guy’s hoping for a strong reaction to his petulant piece about how people shouldn’t send charitable care packages to soldiers.  Alas, I’m a bit of a sadist, so I will merely chuckle and note: dear Lord, but the things that people will resort to in order to get an erection.

Also: Soldiers’ Angels.  God knows that they need all the ones that they can get.

  1. Dear Mr. Lane:

Thank you for the plug for Soldiers Angels. As a member of the organization since it was founded, we appreciate the efforts that people make on behalf of the men and women of our armed forces. They don’t get anywhere near the support that they deserve.

As far as Mr. Walker is concerned, I’ll quote Gunny Highway from Heartbreak Ridge. You couldn’t take care of a wet dream.

  2. This is to be expected. From President “Supply Side Isn’t Working” on down, they all succumb to the Zero Sum Fallacy.

Except when the Treasury’s printing presses are involved, then it’s Zero Sum Game over, baby!

  3. Moe, I’m going to fisk two things from that editorial if you don’t mind.

I read in Tuesday’s Iowa State Daily that the College Republicans have begun collecting sundries for U.S. soldiers serving in Afghanistan and Iraq. Why?

One reason I can think of is that our troops need to know that ignorant lefties like you don’t represent us. We want them to remember that those of us back home actually care about their well-being.

As if American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan had been conscripted? They chose to leave home.

Mr. Walker, based on that quote I am led to believe that your knowledge of the military can only be described as “lacking” because there is not a word in the English language sufficient to point out just how stupid you are.

They did not “choose” to leave home. They were “ordered” to. They swore an Oath that they would go where needed and the U.S. Government called on them. Unlike a worthless neo-hippie like yourself, words mean things to servicemen.

  4. Reading the comments on that piece, he’s getting a strong reaction; just not the one he may have been expecting. They, nearly to a man (and woman), are ever so politely shanking him. The only spittle he sees is his own.

  5. Apparently, the President of Iowa State was contacted about this. In his response, he explains that the man’s views do not represent the university.

Given that the man is not a tenured professor, he may be having to undergo an involuntary change of locale in teaching.

    1. The funny part is I don’t even want the guy fired. Socially ostracizing him will do quite nicely, and help prevent future noxious emissions of this sort.

  6. That’s fair enough in my eyes. I’m just glad that views like his do not just remain unchallenged anymore.

  7. Thomas Walker is only a lecturer and not a real college professor; Walker is a lecturer from a sexual inadequate and uneducated life but paid by tax dollars to pretend he knows something. In viewing his photo, the first thought, socialist/communist and liberal who will hide behind the guise of a college professor. “It is the soldier, not Walker the lecturer who gave him the freedom to speak his venom. I still think his photo looks like Bozo the clown.
