Book-a-Minute Classics.

I don’t know how old this is, and it’s sometimes just the tiniest bit cruel, but it’s pretty funny overall. Totally unfair, of course: as that site itself demonstrates, anything reduced to an absolute minimum becomes pretty absurd.

Still, funny.

  1. After a recent re-reading of Frank Herbert’s God Emperor of Dune, I made one for that, for my own amusement and sanity (should I ever decide to read it again):

Leto, GEoD: I am so awesome! I have made terrible sacrifices, which no one can understand except me.

    |

Duncan Idaho: You are not awesome, you are a tyrant and you suck.

    |

    Squish!

    |

Leto: Looks like we’re going to need another Duncan.

Leto: I am so awesome. Because of me, humanity will never become extinct. I am not the Omnipotent Creator, but I am so far beyond you, it doesn’t matter. I am your god.

Duncan: I don’t care, I’m going to kill you anyway.

    He does.
