I have… good hopes about this film. Then again, I liked Thor (it should have been a miniseries, but that’s life) and thought both Iron Man and Captain America rocked on toast. In particular, I think that Robert Downey’s portrayal of Tony Stark is going to be one of the highlights of the movie, particularly if the director used him to play off the other Avengers.
Well, we’ll see. New footage in the trailer, so check it out. Movie comes out in May.
Obviously he’s not made a big mark in movies, but I have hopes based on the director, too. 🙂
I fear The Suck. Main reason: Edward Norton isn’t the Hulk.
Norton is most certainly not The Hulk, but RD is every inch of Tony Stark. That should even things out nicely.
Won’t be seeing this in theaters, despite my great desire to see how this series wraps up. Reason: I want to wait until I can be sure that none of my dollars will be going to support Joss Whedon, who apparently hates people like me and wants us to die in a fire. Used to be a huge Buffy fan before his unnecessary Tea Party commentary in the last issue of the 8th season comic book…
I also have hopes for more Samuel L Jackson badassery.
