Ace of AoSHQ, on Alan Derschowitz’s public breaking with Democrats if they continue to work with Media Matters for America (if?):

Let me get Alan Derschowitz prepared for something:

It’s called a paradigm shift. It’s going to seem a little weird and scary at first, but it will also be thrilling and ultimately liberating.

A lot of things that have bothered you for sixty years — which haven’t seemed to make sense to you, because your brain was screening the truth from you — are suddenly going to make a lot of sense indeed. And you’re going to be kicking yourself for not seeing it sooner, like an optical illusion that suddenly changes from a lady’s face to a candle.

…Yeah.  It’s all kinds of messed up when it’s going on, but you get over it.  And then, when you do… there’s that magical, wonderful moment when you realize for the first time that you don’t have to pretend to believe, or even publicly take seriously, that incredibly stupid piece of nonsense that has been your personal cross to bear all this time.  It’s like having your ear pop back to normal after an ear infection has run its course; you’ll wonder why you never noticed before how muted all the sounds were…

Moe Lane

PS: Don’t worry about being heretical, either.  Getting three Republicans to agree on anything is kind of a fool’s errand anyway.

  1. Gas is now expected to go to $5.00 per gallon this Summer. All things are inter-related, it’s going to be a very bad year to be a Democrat. Expect the Keystone XL Pipeline decision to come back and bite them, Hard.

  2. Between this, fuel prices, and the flaming bag of poop on the doorstep of the Catholic Church, I’m not sure why Allah is worried.

  3. Because he always worries lourae. There are are more balls in motion, by the end of Summer the D’s are going to be wishing they had primaried O’Bama.

  4. Indeed. $5 a gallon gas will kick the crap outta the blue collar middle class–so with the Jewish folk and Catholics, that’s the Trifecta of Alienation.
