OK, Bioware, I understand that sh*t has gotten real…

…in ME3. I’m down with that. And I am down with the fact that people are going to die in this game whether I like it or not. I am. I am likewise down with the fact that some of the people who die are people that I don’t want to die. I even understand that after this game the story of Commander Shepard will officially have been told, so there’s no thematic reason to keep some NPCs around, either.

BUT YOU DID NOT HAVE TO JUST GO OUT AND KILL FIVE NPCS THAT I WAS FOND OF IN QUICK SUCCESSION, DAMN YOUR EYES.

That was just cruel. Especially the first one; because it was ultimately (if inadvertently) MY fault why that asari girl was crying, you know.

PS: This game rocks on toast.

  1. In my gaming news: is it cheating to have the “Better Dungeons” mod in minecraft and then tunnel up underneath the resulting dungeons, bypassing the guards and stealing their treasures?

I admit the first time was by accident — the tunnel just happened to come out there — but now I’m considering making a habit of it.

  2. Moe, you’re either way ahead of me in the game (probable) or taking a different path. But meeting Aria again – sweet! And there’s one remark there that would go completely over the heads of anyone who hadn’t played ME2. I can see at least one more ME1/ME2/ME3 playthrough in my future after I finish this one.

  3. Moe did you play ME2? Iheard something about how choices you made in ME2 affect what happens in ME3.

  4. Not to speak for Moe, Catseye, but yes, the choices you made in ME2 (and even ME1) affect what happens in ME3.

  5. So if Moe didn’t play ME2 then that would explain the deaths of the NPC’s in ME3.
