Pinball Wizard, The Who
…I think that I’ll let Abbott & Costello handle this one.
I’m a Sensation is a good song from the Tommy album.
BTW, if you’ve never seen the “Tommy” movie? Probably best to stay away. It features Jack Nicholoson in a singing role. Yes, really. And it’s worse than you can imagine.
Nicholson is just awful in that role, and in pretty much every other role he’s ever played. The movie “Tommy” would be a total bomb — terrible plot line about a deaf, dumb and blind boy (Roger Daltry) abused by an uncle — but for the presence of the absolutely lovely and talented Ann Margaret. She and the terrific music score performed by one of the 20th Century’s most gifted rock bands make the film memorable.
Are there anymore good computer pinball games anymore? Anyone know?
When I had Windows 95 I had several that I LOVED. They wouldn’t work on Windows XP and now I’m about to move to Windows 7 (I think it is).
I gave up looking several years ago. It seems to me computer games got so sophisticated no one played the old stuff anymore.
Anyway, the song here reminded me I might among folks who would know if there were any out there.
…I wouldn’t mind knowing that myself, Beej.
Yay! My query is backed by the full force of this board’s management.
Now I can just sit back and wait for results to pour in.
(Wondering if that sounds way more smart-alecky than I was going for.)
Beej: Naah, it’s good.
