Thanks again to everybody who tossed into the pledge drive; I promise to use this to… well, make coffee. not exactly the most dynamic promise made during a pledge drive, I know, but really what else am I going to say? “I shall use this coffee maker to break the space-time barrier?” I have barely enough math and science to know just how stupid the phrase ‘space-time barrier’ is.

A Cuisinart grind and brew; pretty much the same as my old one, only heated instead of thermal (I can turn off the heating plate and use my thermal carafe).

Cuisinart coffeemakers are usually pretty nice. One of the reviews here http://www.coffeereviewhq.com said that one was really good
