Just so we’re clear…this is a movie about the crew of a deep-space vessel, who touch down on an unexplored planet and discover evidence of alien life, before encountering a living alien life form, which then proceeds to attack and systematically slaughter the crew and is shown to present a threat to the entire human race, should it make its way back to Earth? And one of the expedition’s leaders may or may not be hiding an ulterior motive for sending the ship to this planet in the first place? And the female lead is shown entering her sleep pod wearing nothing but a white bra and panties? I feel like I’ve seen this movie by Mr. Scott before: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078748/
Your points are well made, MikeCG… but it WAS made over three decades ago. I can live with him making the movie again, as long as it doesn’t suck.
