Con-Ed looks to be getting ready to go on strike. If you need lights look for hurricane lamps, the kind that burn oil. If you have trouble finding them or the oil try the “Adult Accessory” stores.
That weather your getting is called a super derecho this one is about 240+ miles long so it’s going to be going on for a while. It’s got 90+ mph wind gusts. Watch out for falling trees or tree limbs a number of people have already been killed.
