“Try” and “Do” are completely different words.
So since we have a reasonably conservative VP pick, how soon do the Beltway GOP insiders move to marginalize and try to discredit him? I’m guessing two weeks, tops. We’re going to hear ‘unnamed sources’ trying to undo every bit of influence he has, every bit of authority he has on budgetary matters. I’d like to be wrong, but I suspect I’m not.
