  2. Much depends on the point of view, xander. McCartney has more money, but Lewis is more of a survivor.. a veteran of rockabilly, country, and rock while McCartney bogged down in pop post-Beatles, and never seemed to recover.

  3. @acat — McCartney was always one to go for the softer stuff. He’s the one responsible for “Till There Was You” early on. It’s easy to find lots of similar examples throughout the Beatles career, once you start looking.
