I have received a distressing letter from Pequod Press.

For those unfamiliar with it, Pequod Press is a small publishing company run by science fiction author John F Carr; it’s probably best known for its reprints of and sequels to H. Beam Piper’s Lord Kalvan and Fuzzy Sapiens books. Anyway, thanks to this marvelous economy Pequod is on the verge of going out of business; there’s a mailing-list specific sale going on for their hardcover line, but I suspect that the company won’t be too upset if you wander over to their e-book section and pick up a couple of titles there.

And, unfortunately, that’s about all I can do for them.  Thanks, again, to this marvelous economy.
