Gack. It’s like NOTHING IS GOING ON this week.

It’s either the political equivalent of the Sargasso Sea right now, or I’m in the political equivalent of a sensory deprivation tank. Or maybe I’m just too used to the frenetic campaign pace that was going on since that damned Ames Straw Poll thing. It’s so bad, in fact, that I almost wrote five hundred words about my substandard Cheesecake Factory experience this evening*. It’s been so bad that I actually went to bed before midnight last night. Shocked the hell out of my wife, that did.

Quick, somebody do somet… no, wait, the last time I suggested that was just before the 2000 elections. Never. Bloody. Mind. I’m good. Really.

*They forgot my coffee and their chicken samosas were uninspiring. Add another 490 words of querulous blather and you’re ready to go.

  1. Well, the PC rerelease of Baldur’s Gate, enhanced, is today. IPad version is waiting for next week whenever it gets through the apple gate.

  2. There’s plenty going on, Moe. 2014 is just around the corner, so right now potential candidates are being chatted up and vetted by potential bundlers and fundraisers, and – this is the important part – a whole bunch of “experts” and “election consultants” are on vacation, waiting to see which candidates they can get in bed with.
    .
What needs to be going on, though, is the public shaming of certain of these leeches – specifically the ones responsible for some of the more egregious failures of this cycle.

    1. Jump on the Bush III bandwagon while there is still room! That’s what I hate right now, posturing for the next elections

      1. I decline to participate in electing another Bush… unless he wins the nomination.

I will look into other candidates first.

I am pleased to see that Red State’s Erick Ericson is shaming some of the crooks and leeches.

  3. Whataya mean? I’ve got housepainting to do, garlic to plant, a basement to clean out, ground to prep for Spring, and a long list of books that I need to get around to reading. (Not even counting the standard family obligations and sundry chores.)
You go be bored. I’ll do my best impression of a Leftist and envy you. Feel the hate radiating from this post. Bask in the bitterness.
