Your friend is wrong. Moon Knight is a cheap Batman knockoff. Iron Man is an engineer.
The character of Iron Man has two major focal points:
He has no heart, and therefore believes himself incapable of love.
He is actively seeking an honorable death.
Does that sound like Batman to you?
