*Short version: if you don’t know whether a gun is loaded, it is. If you don’t know how to use a gun, don’t pick one up or even touch one absent the supervision of a qualified and legitimate instructor. Do not horse around with guns; they are not props or toys. Never ever point a gun at someone unless you are prepared to shoot that person; never ever shoot a person unless you are prepared to kill him. If any or all of this is unpalatable, do not use firearms.
And this is all your responsibility.
Why? You know Moe, I have been saying for ages you should write a book. Just do it.
