So, what’s it worth to Barack Obama to have the GOP kill the Hagel nomination?

…Because at this point I don’t think that we should do this favor to the President for free.

    Only way Hagel’s not confirmed is if Republicans filibuster him or enough Dems vote against. Why should Republicans filibuster? They can all vote against and he’ll still be confirmed if Dem party discipline holds.

    And then we can spend four years remarking on the type of idiot who wanted an idiot like Hagel as an advisor.
