Harry Reid: American people too ignorant to figure out Obamacare on their own.

I can’t believe that Harry Reid actually said this (bolding mine):

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) says he shares colleagues’ concerns that the Affordable Care Act could become a “train wreck” if it’s not implemented properly.

Reid warned that people will not be able to choose health insurance plans on government health exchanges if federal authorities lack the resources to set them up and educate the public.

The stress must be getting to him.

PS: Yes, I’m sure that the Hill was paraphrasing whatever it was that Reid had actually said.  The real point is this: the Democrats are as scared as all get-out about how Obamacare is threatening to unfold on them.  As well they should be.

  1. They should be scared I believe that the implementation of “O’bamacare” could be a train wreck of such massive proportions that it takes down both the stock market and possibly the financial system as well. And the dollar may become worthless as a unit of international currency as a result. The best possible result is as I see it that it simply crashes the current Medical and Insurance system. There are simply too many intertwined systems with too many moving parts to be absolutely sure How Bad things are going to be. But I don’t see any possible upside for the Dems on this either it’ll be REALLY BAD or just BAD.

  2. I can believe it. Remember that liberals/progressives want a big government to run our lives, not because they think we are smart, but because they think people are dumb and can’t run their lives.

Granted some people are dumb and can’t run their lives, but the conservative view should be that government shouldn’t run your life even if you are as thick in the skull.

And that is what I don’t get about the left. They believe in “survival of the fittest” but not for human kind. However I agree with Lo Pan, I was not placed upon this Earth to “get it“.

  3. In the mean time, my husband (who has severe rheumatoid arthritis) can’t find a good orthopedic surgeon because all the good ones are leaving our lower income state plan because of O’care…

Thanks, Harry, for pointing out it’s simply because we’re too simple to figure out a plan…
