In our house, they are mostly used for key rings, because I get stiff-necked about keeping the remotes by the TV. Still, they’ve paid for themselves many times over in avoided aggravation.
I love our Roku boxes but the remotes blow..too small and lame…toss that puppy into a drawer and get a rechargeable Logitech universal remote…they’re pricey but worth every penny for the ease of a browser based setup/customization and config save. I bought one 900 new and one refurbed from Amazon…so far no discernible difference other than half the cost.
