I’m highlighting this for a somewhat tangential reason:

As if on cue, a middle-aged black man walks in and is greeted with a hearty handshake. The man says he came in to pick up a gun he ordered the week before.
The 65-year-old shopkeeper says everyone who walks through his door is concerned that the latest push for stricter gun laws will return to the congressional agenda, perhaps within weeks, despite his belief that Americans do not support the legislation as much as the Obama administration claims they do.
His newest customer nods in agreement.
Or perhaps a reminder. Basically, it boils down to this: as a good general rule, bigots typically do not enthusiastically work to make sure that the subjects of their supposed bigotry are well-armed. Quite the opposite, usually.

PS: The NRA and other groups, of course, cheat: they have these amazingly effective secret weapons called ‘shooting ranges.’ Shooting a gun is FUN – as anybody who has ever played a FPS can tell you.
And just like an FPS – the bigger the gun the funner* it is!
*Yeah, I know “funner” ain’t** a word.

Nah. Being able to control where you hit is the fun part. Bigger guns can get in the way of that.
Bigger gun = less recoil
Reading the linked article sort of puts the lie to the OFWM are the only people interested in owning guns.
If you can’t enforce it yourself, it isn’t a right .. it’s a dispensation from whoever does enforce it.
