What do you think the chances are that the information was collected for the purpose of credit card fraud? After all, why would an administration willing to break the law and rob the public baulk at breaking the law and robbing the public?

I was always more concerned about corrupt governments than corrupt corporations because governments are better armed, have a legal monopoly on the use of deadly force and almost impossible to subject to punishment.
