Tweet of the Day, @BobbyJindal Twists The Knife In On #Obamacare edition.

Ouch, ouch, ouch:

Also: truth. I think that I’ve said this before, but let me say this again: I almost wish that the President was the evil super-genius that some of my compatriots think that he is.  At least then I’d know that Barack Obama had a plan.  It’s surprisingly hard to minimize the damage that a well-meaning idiot can cause…

  1. That’s why if I had to pick a dude, I wanted to be President it would be Bobby Jindal. Extremely competent executive in his own right and a top notch troll game to boot and today Bobby Jindal has been flat out trolling #p2.

    1. That State of the Union reply was brutal though. I think it really put a damper on his national career, seriously.

      1. He’s gotten a lot better. I’d encourage anyone to look up his speech at CPAC this year; he can even make fun of himself which is rare for a politician.

      2. Using outdated information to make a decision, jbird?

Careful, the Supremes are harshing on that these days…

  2. Yeah, but there are these little flashes of success and partial success that are perhaps inconsistent with ‘he smoked pot so he is an idiot whose stupidity other pot smokers do not notice’.

    1. “Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press On’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.” ~ Calvin Coolidge

That said, where have you seen President Obama ‘Press On’ anything?

      1. My official position on Obama is that I’m confused as to what is actually going on*. I cannot be bothered, at this time, to search the bullshit carefully in yet another attempt to figure out the underlying mechanism of the screw up. Maybe the political controversy will die down enough in ten years for the truth to be more readily findable.

‘Of course, he was a stoner’ works about as well as anything, and it is usable.

        Thank you for that quote.

There are some areas where one of the possible explanations is that he is practicing some measure of discipline. Like energy policy. When is it sticking to one’s principles, and when is it being too lazy to grow, learn and change?

*This is not to be confused with my opinion of the job he has done, is doing, and will likely do in the future. That is a combination of a) Democrats will be Democrats b) that he has not yet, by some measures, surpassed Jefferson Davis in failure c) that Obama might be termed Jefferson Finis Davis Jr.
