I’m using this tweet from Dan McLaughlin (with his permission) because, really, what else is there to say?


…Except that, based on some of the responses to Dan’s tweet, at least some members of the Left are perfectly comfortable with admitting that they prefer truckling to the latest Jew-hating marionette dancing on the Iranian regime’s bloody string than they are in negotiating with fellow Americans on a specific point of domestic policy. That the Iranian regime is fundamentally wrong on the relevant point of foreign policy, while the Republican party is fundamentally right on its relevant point of domestic policy, is merely a point that reflects badly on the Left as a whole; I will be offering up a prayer tonight that the President himself is not yet afflicted with this particular sickness of the soul.

Either way: January 2017 cannot come fast enough. Both home and abroad.

Republicans should run ads of this nature. “Obama talks with Russia, talks with Iran, talks with Al Assad, but will not talk to John Boehner” “Alan Grayson calls the Taliban, ‘A legitimate political party, one with which we should negotiate’ calls the Tea Party ‘Teahadists’ ‘terrorists’ ‘anarchists’ and ‘the American Taliban”
    Someone get Jorge Bonilla on the phone and have him run on that. Same with Rob Meyer in Connolly’s district.

  3. The left is so far out on a limb that’s it’s a wonder that the branch hasn’t cracked yet. But it will they always do hopefully there won’t be any actual fallout involved only the figurative kind.
