Unfortunately, all of the jokes that I can think of aren’t really that funny, and I’m also kind of bemused that I’m living in 2013. Which, truth be told, does feel kind of future-shocky at times; thirty years ago my idea of ‘cutting edge’ was the Commodore 64, which I had just gotten as a present.

My first C64 used a cassette drive for data storage. It was copy protected EXCEPT all you had to do was use a dual cassette deck to copy the tapes. Tones are tones.
I tend to write the date as yyyy/mm/dd anyways, which means December 11th will be 2013/12/11.
The good news is we don’t have to put up with more silliness like 11/12/13 until .. well .. y’know, it may be a while.
