Alright, I admit it: I’m shooting for a Kindle Fire at this point.

The Amazon.com referrals have been good, this month: it’s December, after all. Sufficiently so that I have some vague hope of being able to get the Kindle Fire when the fees cycle around.  So now it’s just all about running up the score for the upgrades.  Which means that if you haven’t spent those Amazon.com gift cards yet, well…

PS: Thanks to everybody who has supported the site with the aforementioned referrals.  It makes a real quality-of-life difference.

  1. Gotta say, I really like mine (original Fire). I never thought I’d get one, but I won it as a door prize. There is something I needed from Amazon, so I’ll make sure to click through to get it.

  2. What do you want out of a Fire that the iPad isn’t doing? Honest question. Between my wife’s and my iPad / iPhones I don’t want to have multiple systems unless there is a good reason.

    1. Hey, the iPad is great! …Both of my children agree. And the youngest one has more levels of ninja than I do. I want to read my darn Kindle books and gaming PDFs in peace, dagnabbit.
