I am reminded that the special mayor’s election in San Diego is tonight.

Well, today.

Anyway, should be interesting. I have absolutely no idea who is going to win this…

…but that’s a dang good sign for Faulconer (the Republican). Early/absentee voting usually favors the Democrats. Still, I have no idea who will win.

  1. Usually in San Diego, absentees are Republican. It’s sad how far the city has fallen, but I think Faulconer should pull it out. Baby steps in the right direction. I am thankful that Todd Gloria didn’t decide to run. He would have been more trouble thanAlvarez. Alvarez is too inexperienced and would be a total puppet for the city unions. (I’d have to import Art Chance down to beat them down ๐Ÿ™‚ )

  2. One last comment. I’m glad Faulconer pulled a Jack Kemp and went to many of the regular communities that are not considered Republican areas and talk up the opportunities that are available. He got the endorsement of quite a few of the black churches, the SDAR(The realtor organization, the LGBT community, and the Asian American community. Republicans take note, when the option is freedom or the state, regardless of your party affiliation, freedom wins.
