“…I’ll let you know when there’s enough of ’em.”

Via Hot Air, where Allahpundit has gone through the depths of despair and utter futility to the placid pools found beyond, and thus to a place where he can hope that “people will be pleasantly surprised by the results.” Me? I’m a Philistine, boychiks. Gimme what I crave! And go ahead and pass around all those tons of Disney cash freely there, Abrams. To quote Commander Riker: when the train comes in, everybody rides.

  1. No reprise for Major Bren Derlin?
    .
I’m still amazed they’re not doing more with Star Wars in the parks. Instead, they’re wasting money on Avatard land.

  2. The original have nostalgia, impossible to beat. Just hoping for not sucking. Kinda like the Star Trek reboot: fun but not great movies

  3. Andy Serkis is a very good 2nd unit director, and no doubt that’s why he was brought on, though he’s probably also got some minor role.

  4. One of those actors is a “Girls” star, so yeah my confidence is slipping.

A significant number of those listed are British teen stars.

As someone said, why wouldn’t they do more with star wars in the parks? Universal would kill for the Rights to Star wars, just so they could build more stuff in their theme parks.

  5. Whatever he does, it won’t be worse than the prequels.
That will be true, even if he turns them into musicals.
