Looks like Jodi Ernst over in Iowa-SEN. (via @AoSHQDD).

AoSHQDD is calling it for her.  As for Mississippi… it’s far too exciting for both Cochran’s and McDaniel’s partisans right now, which is one reason why I’m kind of glad to have stayed out of that one.  I can take a detached view of the results.

You really should follow AoSHQDD, by the way.  They’re doing the Lord’s work there when it comes to tabulating election results.

  1. BOOOOM!
Biggest Loser tonight is Braley. He has to take on both a farmer and a Iraq veteran. Who can’t be demogogued as some kind of “woman hater” considering she’s a woman.
    Also SCF 2, NRSC 1.

    1. *cough* Dooooom! *cough*

p.s. Cat’s investment advice is to purchase futures in popcorn and crow.

      1. Heh, yep. And I’ve been supportive of Ernst since King, Zaun, Latham, and Reynolds all declined to run.

Zaun by the way is in the runoff for CD-03. Though I think the runoff is actually convention, which allows everyone to compete even those who weren’t running in the primary.

    2. He already tried that and it probably didn’t go over well with most Iowans (many of whom are farmers or have family members that are farmers).
