[A nasty post.]

[Suffice it to say that I was distinctly unkind and cruel to the author of the piece that Mother Jones tweeted out…]

[…and I didn’t even have the excuse of directing it at somebody who was high up on the hierarchy.  The author’s just a kid of somebody more famous; he’s probably got enough problems, honestly.]

  1. Well this is pretty much just click bait. The “article” that goes along with this is just 8 words long, and a link to this article at espn.go.com.

    .

It’s also worth noting that the comments over there are having none of it.

    .

I would also observe that the author must live in a very drab world where he doesn’t know anybody more talented than a late 7th round draft pick, and can’t even imagine such a person. He needs to get out more.

      1. Y’know, sometimes the world needs horrible. It’s kind of like a “Wake up!” slap in the face.

      2. Dude, seriously: Do you think we’re that easy to offend? Or did the original post above stray into territory best left unposted?

  2. Most of us don’t pretend to be Pro quality football players. Most of us know better then to even try. To quote Dirty Harry “A man has to know his limitations.”
