In which I appear on BigGator5’s Swamp podcast.

I’m listening to it right now: hopefully, I wasn’t too incoherent.  I’ve been fighting this cold, and about two hours after I did said podcast I crashed like a brick dropped from a helicopter.  I kind of babbled on about Barack Obama’s neo-Victorian ways, as I recall.  Still, it was a pleasure to be on and I always enjoy talking.

More, including BigGator5’s archive of past podcasts, here.

  1. You know what I have discover when I started this podcast? Podcasters don’t listen to their own podcasts. Apparently humans are ultra critical of the sound of their own voice. For example, I think I always sound nervous. However other people say that I do not.

    So any feedback is welcome.

    1. Mostly that you should probably do that eggshell thing I mentioned, or maybe record in the bathroom? A few towels should take care of any echo.

      1. Funny thing that: I discovered how to turn off the mic after the show ended. *shrug*

As for sound proofing or finding an isolated room, I would have an easier time finding that pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. I need to be in that room with the recording computer and sound proofing is out of the question. Those guys are supposed to mow on Fridays, so that shouldn’t happen again.
