Book of the Week: ‘The Mote in God’s Eye.’

…I haven’t done The Mote in God’s Eye yet?

:pause:

…I am actually mildly concerned about this.  What’s wrong with me?  – DO NOT ANSWER THAT.

Anyway, adieu, An Everlasting Meal: Cooking with Economy and Grace. Great book, that. Buy it. I know, I mean that about all of ’em, but that one in particular.

  1. I haven’t read that in a very long time, I think 30 years. Perhaps I should put it in the queue.

  2. nothing wrong with you Moe. you’re a politics junkie but then again so am i so it’s a feature not a bug. 🙂

  3. So I went down to the shelves to find this. A Classic w/ a capital C. gripping hand and all of that.

AND… it does not appear to be on any shelf. Did I loan it out? Did SF sneaky ninga elves come and take it???
So, … I ordered the hard copy — because that IS just how old school I am.

I think I read this ( Mote in God’s Eye) again last year in a total read around: Foot Fall, King David’s Spaceship, Lucifers’s Hammer, and, okay I have no pride: I read King David’s Space ship just about every other year because it is just too cool.

Side note: I also appear to have lost/given out all my Janissaries (sp) books. deep sigh.
    must go order more.
