Denver police identified the two men who were arrested Saturday after defacing a memorial for fallen officers during a protest march.
Matthew Goldberg, 23, and Robert Guerrero[*], 25, were charged with “investigation of criminal mischief-vandalism” in the incident, which took place at police headquarters, 1331 Cherokee Street.
Said defacing involved red paint and stickers indicating that this was more or less revenge against somebody getting shot last year: I’m sure it made perfect sense to the aforementioned dudebros. Everybody else wants to know why the Denver chief of police allowed a bunch of progressive protesters sh*t (metaphorically, for once) all over a memorial for dead cops. Well, not exactly: they already know why, they just want to know why the chief did it anyway. This is the thing about protest movements run by people with no respect for other people’s stuff: they… have no respect for other people’s stuff. Not to mention (to quote somebody or other) a charming belief that ‘hygiene’ is a greeting…
