My watchdog.org post on Cover Oregon is up.

Link here.  Short version: clearly Cover Oregon once offended a gypsy or violated a mummy’s tomb or possibly didn’t kiss up enough to a Greek god.  It’s the only way to explain why that site has become a karmic chew toy.  Especially since now it’s got King v. Burwell hanging over its head by a thread…

PS: I don’t know how King v. Burwell is going to be decided, and neither does anybody else.

  1. Granting that we do not know what the decision in King v. Burwell is going to be; we can make a reasonable guess based on the history of the last few decades. Ideology will have a higher priority than the law or Constitution. YMMV

    1. I still hope for a court decision that, boiled down, means: “We aren’t scriveners here to clear up your drafting errors; try again, geniuses.”

Because that would be the triple-banana-split-with-all-the-works of an awesomeness of a decision. Because – Congress; you had one job….

  2. *ahem*

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

    *pauses for breath*

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  3. We can be pretty sure that however it is decided, we are going to get screwed, and the court will grant itself more power.
    Those are pretty much constants.
