Don’t think that the rest of us haven’t forgotten about the fact that at least 317 thousand Democrats can be accurately described as a “feebleminded, pig-ignorant would-be monarchist who is absolutely desperate to abandon the responsibilities of a citizen of the Republic and instead bow his or her servile neck to a mortal king.” Nah, we haven’t forgotten at all. And it’s going to be awesome to watch the White House try to thread the needle on this one.
Sure, sure, the White House doesn’t really have the clock start ticking on this one until thirty days have passed (which basically means, no earlier than the first week or so of April). But they probably should start working on a suitable answer early. After all, the best mendacity takes time to prepare.
