Wait, there’s a rain tax? How does that work?
They were taxing us for the amount of flat concrete on our properties, on the grounds that that water didn’t get absorbed by the ground and instead ran off into the Chesapeake.
Yes. Yes, this was a stupidity. As Maryland voters made kind of clear in 2014. 🙂
…So you could, say, put some texture in your driveway and bypass the tax, right? 🙂
