WHY WAS I NOT TOLD THAT NEIL GAIMAN’S ‘LUCIFER’ WAS COMING TO FOX?

I mean… this is… I don’t have cable, people. You cannot assume that somebody else has already told me things. Sometimes they do. And sometimes they don’t. This was a ‘they don’t’ situation.

Gah.

PS: Season of Mists was simultaneously blasphemous/heretical as Hell (pardon the pun), and one of the best damned (there I go again!) comic arcs I’ve ever read. If you haven’t read the Sandman series in general you’re missing out, but not reading that book is particularly egregious. Just be aware that I’m not even remotely joking about it being blasphemous and heretical.

  1. My apologies, I knew and I didn’t share. My favorite is the first story arc, but that’s probably because I bought them when they first came out. Waiting month to month was painful at times.

  2. Picked up Sandman when it came out, except for the first 7 or so- started when Death and Dream walked around town.

And the guy may have Satan’s attitude, but a police procedural? I don’t have high hopes for the show.

  3. Is there anyway to disable the auto-play?

“Hi, I’m an ad guy and I always set up everything as auto-
    play!”

“Hi, I’m some guy on the internet that believes auto-play ad guy and his client hold be chased by a mob and beaten.”

  4. Reminds me a bit of the short-lived Jeremy Piven Cupid series from “Oh-My-God!” 17 years ago. Had a similar whimsical lesser-deity slumming-it-on-earth vibe, and also paired him with a no-nonsense female buddy who was mostly immune to his charms.
