As was noted in comments here last night, David Vitter is retiring: “Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) announced Saturday night that he will not run for reelection after losing Louisiana’s gubernatorial runoff election.” …well. Guess we saw, huh?

I wonder if Jindal try to run next year. Sadly, as much as I like him, LA doesn’t seem to anymore so it’s probably best he doesn’t.
It won’t take a whole lot of Edwards to screw things up before they remember the good ‘ol days under Jindal. If he wants to be President, this is the next logical step for him.
