  1. My mother has a poem:

    Thirty days hath September,
    April, June and November,
    All the rest have thirty-one,
Except January and February which have 80 each.

She doesn’t like winter, but we’re both in Minnesota, so winter tends to feel long.

  2. This is the place where I’d be #THATGUYWHOLIVESINFL, but I’m about to start a contract job in Canada, soooooo yeah. I’m boned.

  3. My driveway is a sheet of ice.
    .
    So is my street.
    .
I’ve got a sore throat and a headache.
    .
    Pfeaugh.

  4. It’s very rare for us to have sub-zero temperatures after January 15th.
I must say that I’m looking forward to that.

  5. Come to Texas, we’re having unseasonably cool weather right now, high of 55 today, but that should probably stop soon.
