    I mention it nor because it’s Piper at his best – it’s not, “Space Viking” is much better – but because Piper *pounds* the idea that we can either tolerate violent opposition from other cultures, or we can tolerate weapons of mass destruction in the hands of peaceful other cultures, but *not both*.

    Obama’s energy policy hurt the poor far more than any of his social policies could have helped it.
    Likewise it was and is obvious that Obama’s foreign policy abandons the traditional thinking of counter-proliferation. His election by the American people was a choice to no longer put a high priority on the prevention of nuclear warfare.
    These years I’ve been working on proliferation related humor make it difficult to see why you have trouble doing light hearted takes on it.
