What IS the Democrats’ Plan B if Hillary actually implodes?

No, I haven’t heard anything. Except a lot of muttering and murmuring on how the latest email dump has some pretty serious implications… and a notable silence on the Left about the entire subject. Which is not nearly enough to justify serious speculation on what happens if Hillary Clinton does… not finish the primary season. And, seriously, there’s every reason to think that she does.

But if she doesn’t… it’s pretty much down to Biden, Kerry, O’Malley, and Sanders, right?

  1. Umm…this may be why Biden suddenly surfaced once more, saying how he regrets that he wasn’t running?

“Hello! Democrats! This is good old Uncle Joe! Are you sure you don’t want me, a loose (16″) cannon, and want Hillary, a woman that makes a corkscrew look like the straight and narrow?

    Hello?

Hey, is this thing on or is it just an ice cream cone?
    Mmmmmm ice cream.”

    1. Me too…the Dems have set the battle space for a female candidate and Warren would be the most likely choice.
      .
Who else do they have? I can’t think of another female that they can elevate ten months away from election day.

      1. Who else do they have?

Please let them run Debbie Wasserman-Shulz. Please let them run Debbie Wasserman-Shulz.

  2. Roll with the hypothetical here for a moment, Moe. Hillary doesn’t finish the primary season, whether for health or legal reasons.
    .
If Sanders senses this, it offers an alternate explanation for why he’s gone so easy on her – he doesn’t want to piss off her supporters since he’ll need to try to co-opt them.
    .
The only one who can enter the race at any time up until the Dem convention and walk out with the nomination is Joe Biden.
    .
Kerry can’t – the ads recycle themselves, and he’s not accomplished jack nor squat since.
    .
O’Malley can’t – he’s, sorry, a relative nobody. If Hillary drops before Super Tuesday, maybe, but .. isn’t Webb still in it? He and O’Malley are the wonder-twins .. I wonder why they even tried.
    .
Sanders can’t – because the quid pro quo for Sanders not roughing up Hillary seems to be Hillary not roughing up Sanders .. and *what* record has he got to run on?
    .
If it’s not Hillary, it’s Biden .. and if it’s not Biden, it may as well be Mary Bono.

  3. Look, there’s a literal mountain of evidence that she flagrantly and knowingly violated the law, committing a very large number of felonies by doing so.
There’s no doubt about her guilt whatsoever, she was caught red-handed.
    .
If she’s not indicted, Rule of Law in this country is dead.
    Full stop.
    .
That the Democrats are lining up behind her is an indictment of them. They should be ashamed of themselves.

  4. Webb is out the talk was he might go third party. There is the conspiracy theory that they would draft Michelle O’bama. And I wouldn’t count Kerry out he’s dense enough that he might see the Sec. State job as another Gold Star on his resume. I also wouldn’t be surprised if even if Hillary’s indicted she doesn’t drop out. There is the theory that Hillary would let O’bama choose her VP and retire after 100 days or so and give O’bama his effective third term.

  5. In Primary Colors II, the role of Joe Biden will be played by Larry Hagman’s corpse.
