You should not steal Bethesda’s content, even if they made a mistake.

I must be getting old. Twenty years ago I would have been all about encouraging people to take full advantage of Bethesda’s screw-up last night when they accidentally made available for free their Season Pass; now I’m just disappointed in everybody who took the product and ran.  I mean, I know perfectly well that Bethesda didn’t intend to do that.  That would make grabbing it anyway stealing.

And get off my lawn!

  1. as I grew up, I realized that buying a product is essentially voting for the creator to make it and more stuff LIKE it. Conversely, if you don’t pay for it, you are encouraging the reverse.

    1. Honestly, I did not read your post before I wrote mine. Otherwise I would have posted:

      “What he said.”

  2. You grew up! And decided that if Bethesda gets robbed then they won’t make more game candy for you.

And part of Growing Up! is deciding I want Bethesda to make more game candy for me than I want a specific piece of game candy for free.

    That’s my basic argument.
