What’s that? It’s not quite Florida Man territory yet? …Well, the lawyer (Kendall Coffey) in question was an US Attorney at the time who then went on to be one of the lawyers in Bush v. Gore. For the Democrats.

I am told that that’s a Secret Service thing, actually. They have pins that change frequently so that the Service can see at a glance who is cleared to be near the candidate, which makes sense.

That is true. I drove a van for the Bush campaign in Michigan in 2000 and we all received a little metal lapel pin that day. Kind of interesting really. Shook George W.’s hand and Colin Powell’s.

:shrug: Bruises and non-consensual physical contact. Wasn’t aggravated assault, wasn’t part of a domestic dispute, wasn’t part of a sex crime, a normal campaign would have resolved it within twenty minutes with an apology and a little exclusive access with the candidate.
She continued to follow Trump with her recorder! I thought victimhood was perquisite of the Left, not our side.

I think she asked for an apology l. Unfortunately the Trump campaign denied the incident entirely. She filed the police department (at least it appears to me) to defend her account of the events. I think If they just owned up and apologized, this would not have happened.
Pretty much what happened, plus a bunch of accusations of her being a dirty little liar and that it never happened anyway and if she had told somebody that she was from Breitbart it wouldn’t have happened in the first place and crap like that. And that was just from the campaign. You can imagine how Michelle was treated by Trump’s most worshipful fans.
So, I did not know that “Florida Man” was a thing. I am now more knowledge and have lost something I will never get back. Thank you Google. 🙂
